Ron & Cathy Tisch
By Ron Tisch
My wife, Cathy, and I decided to make a gift to the La Verna Society because we believe in what the Casa is doing. This is such a unique place because there is so much community involvement and so many opportunities for people who love our Lord to find a way to serve. The Casa is not just about going to Mass, but about its many ministries, such as Faith in Action, Counseling, and Spiritual Direction, to name just a few.
We feel strongly about making a gift to the endowment because we know through this gift we will help secure the future of the Casa and ensure that the ministries now offered will continue to grow and provide comfort to those in need. An endowed gift is a gift that never stops giving and will very likely increase in value over time.
You can make a gift to the endowment with money from your estate after you die, or you can make a gift now and designate it to one of six endowed funds that will support the Casa in perpetuity. Contact Mary Dunn, Director of the Endowment Initiative, to learn more about an endowed gift and joining the La Verna Society. She can be reached at (480) 355-0345 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
